Shipping and Delivery Policy
Important Information
The Picturi.com website operates as a platform that connects artists with art lovers. All shipping and delivery are managed directly by the artists who sell their works on our platform.
1. Shipping Responsibility
Picturi.com is a platform that connects artists with buyers. Each artist on our platform is responsible for shipping and delivering their artworks to buyers. Picturi.com does not handle, package, or ship any artwork sold through our platform.
2. Shipping Methods and Costs
Shipping methods and costs are determined by each individual artist based on factors such as:
- Size and weight of the artwork
- Shipping destination
- Packaging requirements for safe transport
- Courier company preferences
The artist will contact you to calculate shipping costs based on your location when completing the order.
3. Delivery Time
Delivery times vary depending on:
- Artist's processing time (usually 1-5 business days)
- Selected shipping method
- Destination country
- Potential customs delays for international shipments
Once your order is shipped, the artist will provide tracking information if available. You can communicate directly with the artist regarding any shipping-related questions.
4. International Shipping
There are artists on our platform who ship internationally. However, please be aware that:
- International shipping usually takes longer than domestic shipping
- Import taxes, duties, and customs fees may apply and are the buyer's responsibility
- Customs regulations vary by country and may cause delays
- Some artists may not ship to certain countries due to high risk of loss or damage
5. Packaging
Each artist is responsible for properly packaging their artwork to ensure it arrives safely. Most professional artists use:
- Protective packaging materials (acid-free paper, bubble wrap, foam)
- Sturdy boxes or tubes designed for artwork
- Corner protectors for framed pieces
- Clear labeling and handling instructions
6. Tracking
We recommend that artists use shipping methods with tracking. If you want tracking shipping, confirm this with the artist before purchase.
AWB Information
For shipments that include tracking, the artist will provide the AWB (Air Waybill) number or package tracking number. This information allows you to:
- Track the shipment's progress in real time
- Estimate delivery time
- Check package status at each checkpoint
- Be notified about delivery attempts
The AWB number will be communicated by message or email from the artist once the package has been picked up by the courier company and can be tracked on the courier company's website.
7. Communication
After placing an order, you will receive the artist's contact information to facilitate direct communication regarding shipping, delivery, and any special instructions.
8. Our Role
While Picturi.com does not directly manage shipping, we:
- Provide a platform for artwork exposure
- Facilitate communication between artists and buyers
- Offer mediation support if shipping issues arise
9. Contact Us
If you have shipping-related issues that cannot be resolved directly with the artist, please contact our support team through the contact form.
