1. Return Responsibility

Picturi.com is a platform that connects artists with buyers. Each artist on our platform has their own return and refund policy. All returns and refunds are processed directly by the artist, not by Picturi.com. Before making a purchase, we recommend reviewing the artist's specific return policy, which can be found on their profile page.

2. Returns

  • Returns are generally accepted if the artwork arrives damaged or significantly different from description
  • The buyer is typically responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to damage or misrepresentation
  • Personalized or commissioned artworks often have limited or no return options
  • Most artists require notification of issues within 3-7 days of delivery

3. Damaged Artwork

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  1. Take clear photos of the damage, including packaging
  2. Contact the artist immediately through our platform messaging system
  3. Do not discard original packaging until the issue is resolved
  4. The artist will provide instructions for return or repair

Most artists will replace the artwork, repair it, or offer a full refund for items damaged during shipping.

4. Artwork Not Matching Description

Art is subjective, and colors may appear slightly different due to monitor settings. However, if you believe the artwork is significantly different from its description:

  1. Take clear photos showing the discrepancy
  2. Contact the artist within 3 days of receiving the artwork
  3. Provide specific details about the discrepancy

The artist will work with you to find a solution, which may include a return and refund, partial refund, or exchange.

5. Return Process

If a return is approved by the artist:

  1. The artist will provide specific return instructions
  2. Pack the artwork in original packaging or equivalent protective materials
  3. Ship the artwork back to the artist using a trackable shipping method
  4. Provide tracking information to the artist
  5. Once the artist receives and inspects the returned artwork, they will process your refund

6. Refund Timeframe

Refund processing times vary by artist. Typically:

  • Refunds are processed within 3-10 business days after the artist receives the returned artwork
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

7. Non-Returnable Items

Generally, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Personalized or commissioned artworks created to your specifications
  • Items for which the return window (typically 7-14 days) has passed
  • Artwork that has been altered, framed, or otherwise changed after receipt

8. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been shipped:

  • Contact the artist immediately through our messaging system
  • Most artists will accept cancellations if the artwork has not yet been shipped
  • For personalized artwork in progress, cancellation policies vary by artist

9. Our Role

While Picturi.com does not directly handle returns or refunds, we can:

  • Facilitate communication between you and the artist
  • Offer mediation if a dispute arises
  • Help ensure artists honor their stated return policies
  • In certain circumstances, assist with processing refunds through our payment system
