The Forest Remembers" speaks to the idea that nature holds memory. The textures in my painting—layered with flowing teals, deep blacks, and striking reds—feel like they carry stories within them, like tree bark marked by time, or moss covering forgotten ruins. The forest here is alive not just biologically, but emotionally and spiritually. The faint figure within the painting, almost hidden in the emerald and crimson textures, appears like a spirit, perhaps a memory or guardian of the forest. Their presence suggests that the forest is not silent—it remembers the beings that passed through, the pain it has witnessed, and the life it has nurtured.
